Health has never had the same infrastructure. A family's medical information is typically split between a GP in Marylebone, a specialist on Harley Street, and whichever hospital happened to be nearest the last time something went wrong.
London's private hospitals — The London Clinic, The Wellington Hospital and the Cromwell Hospital among them — deliver excellent individual care, but no one holds the complete picture across them, or across a family's homes in Geneva, New York or the Gulf.
